Ahumada Jr. turns in 7th-place result at Vado
Carlos Ahumada Jr. competed in a weekly show at Vado (New Mexico) Speedway on Saturday and turned in a top-10 finish in a 24-car USRA Modified field.
To begin his evening at the 3/8-mile speed plant, Ahumada steered his Hacienda Mechanical, Inc. No 65x to a runner-up finish in his heat race.
He started the 25-lap main event from the fifth position and slipped two spots to come home seventh.
